Peter is a university graduate with amazing results and aspire to be a famous lawyer not only in singapre but in other countries too help different people who have suffer from injustice. Therefore, he went for a interview and he passed it. He was delighted to hear this piece of good news but he could never guess that he was relegated to just an assistant who help others carry information and booklets, etc around. This was not what he had wanted. The truth had created a havoc in his confused mind. He wanted to quit the job but he ha signed a contract with the company. Unwilling, he had no choice but to gather enough valor to accept the sinecure job. What else could be more worst than this?

Undesired tension began to permeate the atmosphere as the team reaches the top of the active volcano which could erupt anytime, to search for an unknown material, which could actually withstand the heat of the volcano. Team members jeopardize their life in search of this material. Suddenly, one of them saw an object emitting some sort of bright light or was it just reflecting the sun's ray almost at the bottom of the volcano where it is very close to the lava. Others suggest that one of them should go down there with his body tied to a rope. Is this method really viable as the heat from the lava could just burn off the rope? There they are standing there looking at each other helplessly, waiting for the propitious moment to go down there but there is something in their mind which made them ask themselves, just when is this propitious moment going to come?

Feature article...topic: stress

Stress is a part of day-to-day living of every individual. Most students may experience stress in meeting the academic demands, people on the job, business men may suffer stress to reach office in time and to complete the projects on time and even the house hold ladies may experience stress in managing the home affairs and to look for the maid servant. The reasons for the stress differ from person to person. The stress people experience should not be necessarily treated as harmful. An optimum amount of stress can always act as an energizer or motivator and propel people to apply the efforts and complete the work. But a high level of stress can be a serious threat to the personality traits of the Individual and can cause physiological and social problems.
stress is caused by the external events and the dynamics of the environment. But we need to emphasis the fact that the Stress is caused by our reaction to the external environment. The manner in which we perceive and understand the changes or the particular event creates same event can bring happiness and cause Stress in two different people depending upon how they react to it.On one side Stress provides the means to express talents and energies and pursue happiness on the other side it can also cause exhaustion and illness, either physical or psychological.
Both positive and negative events in one's life can be stressful. However, major life changes are the greatest contributors of stress for most people. For example,If people have to travel a lot and have to move from place to place, it can cause stress. Some of the untoward incidents like critical illness or death of a relative can also cause stress in individuals.
There are a few ways to reduce stress.
Get a hobby or two, relax and have fun, talk with friends or someone you can trust about your worries or problems. Learn to use your time wisely. Taking exercise and having a good diet.
Finally, Stress can be confronted and reduced if and only if we understand ourselves better, analyze the behavior and identify the source of our stress.

Journal 1 wk 12

It was the first time my dog went missing for many days and not return. Normally, it would just run off for a few hours and return home when it is time for dinner. we had no choice but to organize a comprehensive search party as we scan through the whole neighbourhood but to no avail. We even put up posters to request the public in our search. Maybe we could have been too rash in our search, or maybe our dog could have been knocked down by a car, just like those dogs that appear on television. Of course, all these conclusion are just our conjecture and we do not have any prove yet. Also, even though the remuneration would be nominal for finding our dog, many dog-lovers still help us out and gave us information on what they found. "Doggy, just where are you!"
